The Retro Collection - The Figures with Lightsabers List
In the original trilogy, Jedi were scarce and few characters had a lightsaber. Luke, R2-D2, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Darth Vader were it. Since the prequels and Disney realized that kids want to buy a lot of big roleplay lightsabers, the roster of Force-wielding colorful stick-carrying figures also increased dramatically. It is worth noting Hasbro has yet to make a newly designed figure with the embedded, telescoping lightsaber beyond what we saw in 1978.
If you want complete lightsaber power, you're going to need to buy a lot of the prototype figures. Each figure with a lightsaber has six different possible color variations. As someone from the future, who once catalogued .00 and .01 cardback variants, I can tell you that it has not richly rewarded my sense of toy collecting satisfaction. I'd recommend chasing down figures with a color of lightsaber you might want, like a Vader with a green lightsaber or a Luke with an orange lightsaber.
In 2025 we saw Hasbro discuss a swing away from the new streaming shows, which has resulted in a shift away from figures lightsabers. 0 of the 6 figures for 2025 include the elegant weapon, whereas 9 of the 18 figures from 2024 were kitted out as if they came from a more civilized age.

Han, Luke, Leia, Chewbacca, Darth Vader, and the Stormtrooper were sold as individually packed figures at Target and Entertainment Earth in 2019. These figures were bundled as a shared Disney and Hasbro Pulse exclusive in 2021 and were sold at Entertainment Earth in 2024. The 6-pack action figures have no figure changes other than new printed date stamps on their legs and revised packaging, under the SKU #F7648.
