The Retro Collection - Figures that Are Just Different Enough to Make You Mad List
I love new figures, and I'm a huge fan of reissues - but sometimes Hasbro makes minor, deliberate changes which I've been referring to as just different enough to make you mad. Usually these figures have a change in packaging, SKU, and UPC, but also a change in accessories or a minor color change.
They're technically new figures. But they may not be things you feel obligated to buy and still feel your collection is "complete." In the case of these figures, the figure itself is identical but there were minor alterations to accessories and big changes to the packaging.
