The Retro Collection - The List of Figures with Helmets
Back in 1983, Kenner started to make its action figures with removable helmets - which was mind-blowing. Sure, some of the heads were tiny, but it was a new play feature that changed up how kids interacted with their toys. In the old days, Leia's Boushh helmet was soft and rubbery and Endor Battle Poncho helmet was a little rubbery. Luke's Stormtrooper helmet was hard plastic, while Lando's Skiff Guard helmet was a sturdy material.
In The Retro Collection, most of the helmets are soft and rubbery - except for Lando's, which remains a sturdy material.
