From the pages of the just-ended (but sort of continuing) Star Wars: Legacy comic books, Vax Potorr is a Stormtrooper that, in figure form, looks a lot like your other Stormtroopers.  This now basically sold-out item may be on shelves at certain stores near you, but online it's going away-- how is it?  Read on!

Hey kids it's Machook from the Marvel comics!  There's no reason you should know who he is, but he was an exclusive and totally was worth getting.  You need lots and lots of Ewoks, after all.  Read on!

Some new instruction manuals popped up over at Hasbro.com for The Rise of Boba Fett (Featuring Slave 1 and the OG BMF, Mace Windu's Jedi Starfighter). If you're still "on the hunt" for the Fett Set, this might give you a bit of a fix. (There's no telling when the Hyena Bomber is due out, but it's cool to see how it works all the same.) Toy nerds - including this writer - may hate stickers, but instruction sheets are very cool! Check 'em out!

He's no Max Veers, but a homage to the generic AT-AT Commander of the Kenner days of yore. VC05 AT-AT Commander's armor can be removed to reveal a detailed Imperial issued officer's wear underneath, and you can certainly swap heads for army building purposes. We wished that Hasbro had included an officer's cap, but that doesn't diminish what is one of the better executed figures of this wave. Post your comments and let Hasbro know what you think!

This swell Firefighter Droid is an oddity-- it's a villain painted up to look like a real-life heroic figure.  (I have a lot of Playmobil firefighters, you see.)  The figure is also retooled slightly from previous animated Battle Droids. Is this Clone Wars bad guy a keeper?  Read on!

Aside from Boba Fett and Yoda, VC04 Bespin Luke is one of those ESB characters Hasbro has to eventually nail if they state that these Vintage Collection figures are the premium representations they're supposed to be. We're happy to say they nailed it. Featuring a spot on headsculpt, super articulation, and great paint detail, they should template this for future purposes like a running change "battle damage" version or Dagobah training. Hey, what could be better than Princess Leia in some sexy dress she used to get a lizard man in the sack?  Anything, that's what!  (We kid.) But seriously, this figure didn't do too well in some markets and a lot of Shadows of the Empire fans already forgot she exists-- odd for a 2008 figure.  Should you grab her?  Read on!

While Hasbro has captured the likeness of Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher, they sometimes struggle with Harrison Ford. VC03 Han Solo (Echo Base Outfit)'s headsculpt is fairly decent, but not the best. He does come with cool welding accessories and Patagonia-ish cold weather jacket along with some recycled parts, so he's definitely worth picking up. He looks alien, and he looks like he stepped out of a 1970s comic book.  He's Djas Puhr, alien bounty hunter!  The figure has way more detail than the original costume likely had, and has some nice hidden articulation to boot.  Is he worth the nothing he currently sells for?  Read on!

Clearly the best interpretation so far, VC02 Leia in Hoth Outfit is no frills, with only a removable vest and blaster to feature. Yet the power of the sculpt and paint detail speaks volumes in its subtlety. You don't need a committee to appreciate that, laser brain.
