And we continue the droid watch with BB-Series Droid (BB-8-style droid, white body and red head) - in theory, in Targets now in little blue boxes. It's the BB-9E body with BB-8's head and new colors. It also vaguely resembles something from WWI, which I assume was unintentional. Read on!
The nameless figure we are identifying as a R3-Series Astromech Droid (R3-Series, Clear Dome, Black Body with Orange Highlights) may be on an endcap at Target near you right now as part of a Galaxy's Edge campaign. I think this is my favorite one in the batch - clear dome, flame gets, Halloweeny colors. Also it's ten bucks, which is splitting the difference between this mold when it appears on The Vintage Collection cardbacks for about $13 and when it shows up in ForceLink-esque packaging. Read on!
GameStop has a new pre-order up: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Scout Trooper The Black Series Action Figure Only at GameStop. It's the one that came with the bike a few years ago, but with more gear and a higher price.
File under "News to me!" - Star Wars Action News on Instagram posted what looks like a packaged white-boxed Boba Fett from Diamond Select Toys. They've been doing their own Marvel figures for years, but so far nobody has managed to get approval to do plastic Star Wars in this size - so perhaps some slicensing took place during Hasbro's latest contract renewal. This week in Q&A - Prices! Exclusives are more expensive, it's not your imagination. Carbonized continues! If you want it or if you don't, it's happening. And 5 points of articulation love - it's cheaper - so why kill it?
Be sure you send in your questions for next time. The mailbag is empty. Read on!
We're going to double our Figure of the Day articles for October! Come back every weekday (except Q&A Monday) for a look at figures like Anakin Skywalker (Clone Wars Redux, The Vintage Collection) - a reissue with different face paint! If you missed him before, now you can get one of your own. Read on!
This Obi-Wan Kenobi (Clone Wars Redux, The Vintage Collection) is a lot like the one you missed in late 2011 - but just a bit different. If you missed the last one, this is a good substitute - but I kind of like the face on the original just a bit more. Read on!
Hasbro's PR team wrote in to say:
"In recent Hasbro Star Wars HasLab news, the brand has reached their stretch goal of 8,000 backers earlier today and subsequently revealed the second tier unlock for the HasLab Star Wars: The Vintage Collection Razor Crest – the Star Wars: The Vintage Collection The Child Figure with Pram!"
Also:
"Featuring a card back, head and arm sculpt, gear shaft knob, and Pram deco treatment you can only receive with the HasLab Razor Crest"
This probably means a mass retail release is coming, but even if it is, this is probably the easiest way to get yours. (Even if it has a $350 ship with toilet with it.)
If you missed the original in 2010, this Wicket (Ewok Redux, The Vintage Collection) is worth a look. The deco has been changed, the accessories are tweaked a bit, and it still has the green season 2 cartoon cowl. (It would've been awesome if the recolored it to match season 1 this time, but such is life.) Is it worth buying? Probably! Read on!
This week in Q&A - Shipping! It's not easy. Exclusives! They're still elusive. And PulseCon stuff - and I think I'm over my completism finally. It only took a few decades!
Also don't forget PulseCon is this weekend... and start skipping your pricey coffees, you're going to need that money.

Already over 50% 67% 115% funded, the Star Wars The Vintage Collection Razor Crest has what appears to be a changing table, a urinal, and what could be a ball gag. And that's just in one picture. It has removable panels, removable engines, a 3 3/4-inch Beskar Mando with cloth cape, and unrevealed stretch goals. This is probably why it's $350. It also measures about 30-inches by 20-inches by 10-inches, so start looking for a shelf now. Order here and wait until Fall of 2021 to get yours.
Garazeb "Zeb" Orrelios (The Black Series 6-Inch) is available now - but it's not in big box stores, as it's a fan channel exclusive. What does that mean? Order it online, or ask if your local comic shop has it. It's big and cool, but it's $10 more than a regular figure. Is it worth it? Read on!
There are two releases of this Luke Skywalker (Stormtrooper, The Vintage Collection) - last year's was in a 3-pack for SDCC, and this year's is on a cardback as pictured. The blasters are a tiny bit different. The head sculpts are new for these releases, while the Stormtrooper body is pretty old. Is it worth it? Well, it's better than the last one. Read on!
This week in Q&A - Server outages are real! Sorry about the delay. Retro figures! You're not missing any news Also some revised nomenclature - we're not renaming anything here. And the best packaging - which is worth a look, after 25 years of remakes.
Also don't forget PulseCon is this weekend... and start skipping your pricey coffees, you're going to need that money.

Check out Clone Commander Wolffe (The Vintage Collection)! There are new parts, there are old parts, and there's a great new head sculpt in there with the scarred eye. If you see it, go ahead and get one. Or order online, as that is the way these things are done now. Read on!
