Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: LOM-Series Protocol Droid (Silver, Droid Factory). Since they had the body, they repainted it, and we got some pretty nifty variations on the old Bounty Hunter droid. Mine has CZ arms, which look neat since one of the shoulders is painted a slightly different color. These things sometimes look like they were assembled by Jawas. Read on!
This week in Q&A - The High Republic! Nope, no toy plans yet! Street dates! Are they still a thing? Kinda. But not usually. The Sequel Era! is it being ignored, or is it your imagination?

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,816: Kuiil (The Retro Collection). This Ugnaught looks a little bit different from the vintage one, and takes a few liberties with the rubbery head from the TV show. It's still cool, and a lot more colorful than the previous figures. Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Cara Dune (The Retro Collection). This is a good one - she can hold her blasters, stand, sit, and generally look like an old Kenner figure with a far better paint job than we would be likely to see in the 1980s. Unlike some other late-era Kenner women figures, she also has a neck. (Look at Kea Moll.) She's also a little short - but still a good figure. Mostly I'm just happy there's no vinyl cape to get in the way of vehicle interaction. Read on!
Today in Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day: 3PO Protocol Droid (Blue, Droid Factory). This blue droid is sold in parts bins exclusively in theme parks, which may as well mean eBay. The blue head and torso include unique painted stripe patterns, the significance of which I actually do not know - but it's blue and it looks cool, and it reminds me of the blue concept C-3POs we once saw in Tomart's Action Figure Digest. In other words, this Disney figure is sort of like a Kenner prototype we assumed we'd never get. Read on!
This week in Q&A - Playsets! Can we expect more? Probably! Will it be what you want? No. Retro Marvel - it's different! And Aliens - there are differences there, too!

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Han Solo (6-Inch Value Figure, Solo: A Star Wars Story Line Look). This $5 figure was made in 2018, but I never saw them in stores until recently - for all I know they were sitting in a warehouse before being sold in the USA at Five Below stores. They were available internationally, and also seen in board room presentations if you were invited to the right meetings. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog, it's the kind of figure I've been waiting for - and it's been a very long time. The Mandalorian (The Retro Collection)! It's great. Because the 1980s never ended for some of us, Hasbro made The Mandalorian figures that look like Kenner releases. From 1981. I'm not quite sure why they went with a vinyl cape for a post-ROTJ release, but it's still neat with bright colors and two great blasters. If you see it, especially for ten bucks, and you're old? This is a must-buy figure. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: R8-Series Astromech Droid Orange with White Panels. A weird dome, a unique body, and some pretty spectacular colors make for a standout droid that matches your X-Wing pilots quite nicely. If you have the means, you should get one. Read on!
This week in Q&A - Is there such a thing as too much Star Wars? I hope not. And how about those store changes - is in-store pick-up here forever? Most likely. How about that Republic Commando reissue? Don't get your hopes up too much for new 3 3/4-inch figures.

Probably at a store near you, just not in the toy aisles: The Mandalorian (6-Inch Value Figure, Black Logo Line Look). This $5 figure stands tall and may be hidden around your feet at a checklane at a Walmart near you. I suggest going at night when the lanes are mostly empty - each one has different stuff in it, so next to the candy bars and batteries might be a figure with four joints and surprisingly nice paint for the asking price.
