Remember Durge?  Nine years ago, he was revealed as a toy for the very first time and this animated version of the figure came a little bit later.  Is he cool?

Stay Class I-ey, Hasbro!  Because Hasbro is cool, I got to play with the Class I and Class II 2013 vehicles.  You saw some impressions of Class II earlier, and now I get to tell you about the new Mini-Rigs!  So read on, and know that I had me a great time.

We've posted photos from today's Hasbro panel and booth. There are a few things to be excited about, including a TRU Vintage Slave I in 2013 and images of new Droid Factory and Clone Wars figures. Not much in terms of exclusives, but a new assortment of down-sized Class II vehicles to make them more affordable for the mommy market will surely cause debate.

Publishing a book of all the 3 3/4 inch Star Wars action figures ever produced by Kenner/Hasbro is quite the daunting task. Adam has been writing his Figure Of The Day feature for the past 5 or 6 years and has yet to hit 2,000. Steve Sansweet's Action Figure Archive has always been the seminal book in prose, style, and format and we've been waiting for an update for 13 years since the Power of the Force 2 collection from the Nineties.

You've been waiting for him since he was first revealed at Comic-Con. The new and pretty awesome Darth Malgus Premium Format Figure is now available for pre-order at Sideshow. The exclusive version features an alternate "unmasked" head.

The Jumbo Vintage line has been trending up in popularity amongst collectors, and Gentle Giant gives reason for more excitement for this assortment with a sneak peek of the upcoming Jumbo Vintage Rocket Firing Boba Fett.

This is all you want to know; there wasn't anything new today. With no show exclusive and a scaled down presence for Celebration VI, Hasbro was remarkably low key for Day 1. Yet Hasbro Star Wars brand reps were engaging inquiring fans in other ways such as demonstrating the various features of the new MTT and diplomatically answering questions about distribution, which quite frankly, has reached its saturation point from a reporting point of view.

Depending on where you sit as a fan, the merchandising at Star Tours is either the best thing ever or something giving you a little toy anxiety.  (Hi, Ron!)   This year at Celebration VI, Disney previewed Droid Factory, new Star Wars Muppets, Vinylmation, and-- get ready for this-- Star Wars Disney-Pixar Cars.  Yes.  Darth Mater.

Hey kids, this figure is labeled Queen Amidala and it's old.  It's pretty good, though!  The detail is good, the deco is nice, and it's pretty cheap.  Read on!
