Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: IG-12 with Grogu and Anzellan (The Vintage Collection Deluxe). Most likely in a store near you somewhere, the figure is $25 - and has a couple of little guys with it, and those aren't cheap to make. But it's also a retool of a figure you probably purchased for half the price a few years ago. Read on!
Ad: More oldness! If you missed the hard-to-get (and expensive on the secondary market Star Wars The Retro Collection Return of the Jedi 3 34-Inch Action Figures Set of 6 - Exclusive, you can get it! It's one of many Star Wars: The Retro Collection action figures and sets at Entertainment Earth. This set is famous for having a reissue of Yak Face as well as a new-to--the-line Mon Mothma, both of which are due to ship later this year.
If you're new to this line and want something else to get sooner, I recommend the Star Wars Ahsoka Retro Collection 3 3/4-Inch Action Figures Wave 2 Case of 8. Why? Chopper is a lot like the old R2-D2, Sabine Wren has an awesome removable helmet and extra accessories, Hera Syndulla is really good, and this particular Ahsoka has retooled hands. It's a good pack.
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Darth Vader (Epic World of Action). The 2025 model has more motion at the shoulders and hips, plus adds knee and elbow joints. The lightsaber is overpowered too, take a look at the energy bolts coming from it - it's pretty cool, and hopefully will be in a store near you soon. Read on!
This week in Star Wars Q&A - Are the kid figures better in 2025? Yes! Will HasLabs be delayed by tariffs? Well... let's speculate wildly, but one thing I do know is that they will likely cost a lot more.

I've been involved with collecting Star Wars for most of my life and have been writing about the toys and collectibles for decades. While I have heard countless complaints, one I have never heard was "there just isn't enough Star Wars stuff." This non-complaint is being addressed again, as Disneyland News Today reports Death Star Popcorn Bucket, Coaxium Sipper, and More ‘Star Wars’ Season of the Force Souvenirs Coming to Disneyland. There's a very cool Tauntaun popcorn bucket with what appears to be articulated limbs. There's what is clearly an "I Dream of Jeannie" bottle that is being pitched as a Star Wars cup. There's also a pretty slick Clone Trooper helmet that is also a bucket. There are a lot of creative ideas here mixed with props that don't normally get produced as a licensed product.
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: R2-BNE (Bunny, Holiday Droid Factory). After selling out online, an announcement for this figure fast became one of my most-reblogged and liked Tumblr posts. I'm not sure if the theme parks still have it in stock - it's a Disney Parks exclusive - but you should probably grab it soon if you see it. It has new rabbit ears on the same mold Disney has been using, but do you have another blue and pink droid? Probably not. So get this one! Your friends will love it, so buy an extra for them, too. For Epic World of Action (formerly Epic Hero Series) and The Retro Collection, nothing new was shown. Right now we know Epic World of Action is going to get at least three mechs and a few new bikes along with an X-Wing this year, so that's good. For Retro, we know about that one six pack of figures due at the place with the big red dot in about a month - and it's very exciting.
So how about The Vintage Collection and The Black Series? We're getting some newness with actual new costumes and fresh faces, as well as some faces we haven't seen in quite a few years.
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: General Grievous (The Retro Collection). This one feels old-school, but more like a figure from the mid-2000s - his lateral arm movement is unique, but the head deco feels a lot like something from the actual Revenge of the Sith toy line. I think they did a nice job making stompier and more stable feet, though.. Read on!
This week in Star Wars Q&A - Could subscription figures make a comeback? I have doubts. Is there a best The Empire Strikes Back-specific Darth Vader? There hasn't been a new one in a while.
Also, we're out of questions for next week. Send in new questions.

Does that headline make any sense? I hope so. While looking at Thingiverse, I saw a listing for a free file so you can print a Star Wars Ghost - Phantom 1 adapter. When the HasLab project was revealed I asked if there was any way Hasbro could dock the older shuttle from the original cartoon and was told no - apparently, the answer is actually "yes." It looks like for pennies, we could have had a means to dock the existing ship with our new massive freighters.
Apparently it is just that easy.
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Tessek (The Vintage Collection). It's a pretty good figure - the arms are mostly from Bib Fortuna, the head is new, the colors are pretty good, but I still like my Power of the Jedi Tessek just fine. If you need more articulation and cloth bits? Get this one. If you're happy with the one you've got? You're all set. Read on!
