Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: The Mandalorian (Arvala-7, The Vintage Collection) . This figure is shipping now and possibly in stock online - I haven't seen him in stores yet. He has a Beskar pauldron and revised hip joints, plus a different paint job compared to the 2020 figure. It's the kind of thing you probably expected back in 2019, but at least you can get it now and it's worth it. Read on!

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Blurrg (The Vintage Collection). This is a pretty exciting toy, in no small part because it feels new. There was one in Mission Fleet but this is the first-ever 3 3/4-inch scale Blurrg. This one is from The Mandalorian, but you may remember it from The Clone Wars or Ewoks: The Battle for Endor. This may also be the single most interesting The Vintage Collection toy to come out for the rest of 2024.
It's sturdy, the articulation is good for a creature of this nature, and the paint is excellent. If you can find one, you should probably pick one up as we've gotten virtually no new creatures (or vehicles) in recent years, and this one is really fun. While it does come with another Mando figure - and we'll look at him shortly - it was also retooled to work with the creature, so at least it's a little different. Read on!
This week in Star Wars Q&A - Can anyone afford to license Star Wars? Probably! A lot of people do. And NYCC Reveals - well, it's been a weekend of those.

One of the quirks of this hobby as it grows is that licensors and licensees are seeking new audiences for all properties, all of the time. There are people who like Transformers but may not buy Optimus Prime or Dinoking, there may be people who really like The Mandalorian but don't want a LEGO set or an action figure. That's why Transformers Collaborative STAR WARS: The Mandalorian N-1 Starfighter exists. There were a line of Star Wars Transformers that kicked off about 18 years ago that went from mecha pilots to stand-alone guys in various sizes, and then the American market had a hard break.
So what's the deal with this new one? It's 7 1/2-inches tall and $54.99. That means it's roughly the size of a small Leader-class toy (so, not the Dinobots), or a large Voyager, or very close to the $89.99 Commander Class Optimus Prime toy. That means it's pretty big as most Collaboratives tend to be, and it's due next year. Also it seemingly sold out at Hasbro Pulse, but is still at Walmart. If history is any indication, Walmart stores may not necessarily stock it, and it may not necessarily be exclusive forever - Back to the Future Gigawatt eventually made the rounds, you can probably find TMNT Party Wallop in a store near you right now, and Ecototron wasn't half bad.
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Osha Aniseya (The Vintage Collection). She is showing up at Walmarts and online stores right now, so the good news is you can find her. The better news is that she's excellent - the face is good, the wig looks decent (better in person), her accessories are exactly what I want, the vest fits well, and the articulation is good. This is a shining example of Hasbro doing everything right for a new streaming series show, because it came out within two months of the series concluding - which is also pretty good for the modern era, but not good enough when fans do so much of their buying before the movies would hit theaters. If you skipped the show (and it looks like that is most of you), this is still a good figure. If you hated The Acolyte, it remains a very good figure. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: X-Wing Pilot (Miralan, The Vintage Collection). It's Luke with a new head, but the new head has a great separately molded wig piece and great face paint. If she's from a specific moment in the series, I haven't been able to pinpoint her, but she looks perfectly nice as another action figure that, technically, fits in with your old trilogy stuff. This week in Star Wars Q&A - What would make things interesting? Things I can't have, of course! And Who owns the original look of Kenner's action figure packaging? Not Hasbro!
Also, we're out of questions for next week.

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Bo-Katan Kryze (Walmart Exclusive 2-Pack, Epic Hero Series). This Walmart 2-pack is likely in stores now, and is different than the single figure - the 2-pack has a jet pack, the single has a blaster. It's a pretty nice figure, too, with a Beskar pauldron. Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: C4-R4C (Droid Factory). As the only 3 3/4-inch figure of this droid, it's the best - and it's pretty good too. There are a lot of grimy paint apps over a freh figure, so if you squint and get in close it's quite impressive. Read on!
This week in Star Wars Q&A - Playsets! Let's set some expectations! Odds are a complete small moon isn't possible on a collectible budget. What does the future hold for us? I'm still looking, but it looks like locking up toys is all the rage this October.
Also, we're out of questions for next week. What's on your mind?

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Emperor's Royal Guard (The Retro Collection) . This sold-out exclusive looks pretty spectacular, with detail surprisingly close to the original from 1983. You've probably got one by now, but if not, this was a good figure to have. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Professor Huyang (The Vintage Collection). This is the Hasbro model - it's taller than the Disney Droid Factory one and has more accessories, so you'll probably want this one. Neither has the edge in paint, so if you care about height? Get this one. Read on!
This week in Star Wars Q&A - Is there an end? Not that I know of. Also let's go on a tangent because we've got space.
Also, we're out of questions for two weeks from now. Send some in, they're welcome!

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Moff Gideon (Walmart Exclusive 2-Pack, Epic Hero Series). This Walmart exclusive is about $20, and that isn't too bad. He has different accessories than the single-carded release, including a jet pack which is unique. I like this one. Read on!
