Today we look at Ezra Bridger (The Force Awakens)! It's new - sort of! Unlike the previous releases, this one has his unique lightsaber and a shield mortar thing. If you only get one Ezra, this is the one you want. Read on!
Meet Constable Zuvio - sort of. We don't know anything about him really. He has a hat, and some nifty scuffing on his armor. Also a gun. That is all. Read on!
There are a lot of exciting new characters in Hasbro's The Force Awakens toy line, and Darth Vader is not one of them. It's a figure you may have bought, but it has a new droid sidekick - and that's interesting. Read on!
Today in Figure of the Day, Reistance Trooper! We don't know much about him yet, but we know he has a neat helmet and can sit in vehicles. Also, we assume it's a him. It could just be a clever disguise. Read on!
This week in Q&A: Let's talk Force Friday! We've got time. And Captain Phasma and her paint job. Why not? And let's round things out with MicroMachines - I'm digging them, even if they're missing paint. And stands. (I really need some stands now.)
You see where this is all going. So send in your questions for next week. Read on!
In his pilot outfit, this Poe Dameron figure includes what basically amounts to wings - he's not bad! The helmet isn't removable, but he has a holster for his blaster. It's not a bad one. Read on!
One of my favorite collectible companies is Funko - they're famous for Pop! Vinyl right now, but have a rich history of collecitble figures and bobble heads. Their newest gambit: a subscription-based Star Wars Smuggler's Bounty program. Every two months you get a crate of loot, which (if you look at the Marvel ones) include exclusive Pop! Vinyl figures, pins, and t-shirts. You don't get a ton of junk, but you do get some pretty great stuff. Click here to see it - it's about $192 per year shipped in the USA, and the first box has two exclusive figures.
While most figures are sold out in my neck of the woods, if you're lucky enough to stumble on new The Force Awakens action figures you're likely to find Finn. He's one of the new major players in the movie, and like the rest we really don't know all that much about why he's there or what he's going to be doing. It's a decent looking action figure, though. Read on!
The first First Order Stormtrooper has a big gun - other versions are coming, but the figures are generally the same. This one comes with a giant Nerf-like gun, and I quite like it. Will you? Read on!
The First Order TIE Fighter Pilot looks a heck of a lot like the Imperial TIE Fighter Pilot - same basic colors, same basic layout. It's less bulky, though, and other differences make this one an interesting take on the figure we've all crammed in vehicles since the first one in 1982. Read on!
This week in Q&A: Let's talk Droids! Is it time to hit up Disney? Probably. What's up with the Rancor Pit at Toys R Us? Good news, sort of. Also, Midnight Madness - did you go? I was working, so I didn't.
All this and more - or less. So send in your questions for next week. Read on!
A lot of stuff is out already - some of which in small numbers. We scooped together all the information we have to bring you the Star Wars: The Force Awakens Hasbro Action Figure Checklist. In it, you'll find a new definition of suffering as you drive around your city to collect these toys over a thousand years. Names of characters not necessarily in your lexicon may appear and as such, you should sign off the Internet for the next four months if you want to go in to the movie clean - product names are discussed in the checklist after the jump.
They can't all be winners, but this figure is crucial if you want to assemble the Jungle cluster of "Combine Weapons." The Luke Skywalker (Bespin / Jungle, The Force Awakens) is a perfectly nice figure, but a) you probably own it, and b) the backpack isn't enough to make the new, added backpack hole very interesting. It may also amuse you to know that the backpack has more joints than the action figure. Read on!
What's out? What's coming? And where should you be hunting? Right now, it's a little murky - but it looks like no exclusives have really hit except the retail release of the SDCC Rancor Pit set at Toys R Us. A whole smattering of things are coming, and I compiled a list for you. Found something I haven't? Let me know! We'll get it added.
