Ad: Coming soon! E.T. Glow-in-the-Dark Finger and Chest ReAction Action Figure - Entertainment Earth Exclusive and a E.T. ReAction Action Figure 3-Pack are on the way from Funko. If you just want E.T., grab the exclusive carded figure - it's perfect to hang around with your old-school Cantina aliens. (It's OK, they're pals and it's canon.) The 3-pack also brings you Gertie and Elliot - retro-styled just like you wish you had in 1982. Pre-orders are welcome at Entertainment Earth today.
This week in Q&A - Starfighters - there sure are lots of them, aren't there? And paint - what's with the dots? Also other sci-fi action figures - could they have a revival in a retro style? It's like Laura Kightlinger says, "Anything can happen with a razor."
And send in your questions for next week. Read on!
And finishing up the 4-pack, it's R3-M2! This one has a new dome sculpt with a big silver band on the bottom which, unfortunately, helps highlight the inaccuracies of the Hasbro domes for the R3 droids over the past few years. Well. I guess we can look to redoing the rest of them. It's a great figure with wonderful deco, so check it out and read on!
It appears Lucasfilm and Disney are going long on C2-B5 - at least three known action figures are available or are in the works so far. This 3 3/4-inch action figure is available now as part of a Disney parks exclusive Rogue One boxed set - one you can actually buy outside the park in the Downtown Disney compound. Should you get it? Read on!
It took me longer to grasp than it should have, but I'm pretty sure R5-SK1 is a nod to Skippy, the Jedi Droid. If you don't know what that is, you missed Star Wars Tales - and that was a fine comic. This new droid is one of four figures in a new Disney parks exclusive droid pack for Rogue One, where one droid looks like one you probably have, another is coming with a big vehicle later, and the remaining two are seemingly brand new for this set. If you like droids, this is a good week to be you - we're going to examine the entire set. Read on!
This week in Q&A - Exclusives - are in panic mode? The Big Death Star - are we too late? And buying figures when visiting the United States from abroad - what should you be considering as you prepare to loot us and take our toys?
And send in your questions for next week. Read on!

We were forwarded this story from a few people, so we're linking to the WSJ: Jakks Pacific Said to Suspend Toy Sales to Kmart. I know not a lot of you go to Kmart - or can go to one - but they tend to have a lot of Jakks Pacific Big Figs front and center in their stores, making them a visual staple of their toy aisles. And, of course, Kmart and Sears have been around forever - but haven't had the best press lately. Take a look.
It's new! Rarely does a year go by without a new toy of the main character of the saga, so we look forward to Darth Vader (Rogue One). He's got six points of articulation, a cape, and a rocket launcher shaped like his belt buckle. I'm loving it. Will you? Read on!
Hot - or cold - on the tail of last year's robot is the new R2-H16. This festive fellow has a hat with ear flaps, which is reason alone enough to buy one as 3 3/4-inch scale droids seem to have become the new Vinylmation as our hobby as concerned. The official Disney Parks site has a feature on this and other new items, including a Bluetooth Stormtrooper Commlink for your phone, new plush Ewoks based on the 1980s cartoons - seriously!, and other goodies.
Rumors have been swirling for months in Transformers and G.I. Joe circles, and the event will be in September within walking distance of the Omni Hotel, at Dunkin Donuts Center. There's a decent mall nearby with a movie theater, food, pants, and all the things you'll usually want to kill time or hide accidents at a show.
From the new Rogue One line comes the Kanan Jarrus (Stormtrooper Disguise)! It's a new taller Stormtrooper sculpt with a removable helmet and a wrist launcher for some reason. It's actually pretty fun - and shortpacked, so get one or more if you see them. Read on!
