Generally speaking Darth Vader action figures are black-- except this one, it's white. From the Return of the Jedi: Infinities comic book, this is a repaint of the 2004 Vintage figure. It's pretty good, if you like weird colored action figures. Read on!
It's a new year, but these questions come from the tail end of the 2010 mail bag. We have things like the tri-pod laser cannon not meeting your expectations. We look at big expensive LEGO toys and why you should buy them before it's too late. Heck, we even look at various stylized collectible Star Wars lines. And to round it all up, I rant about how Hasbro found another way to make today's best figures yesterday's news with new developments in their G.I. Joe line. Wow!
Paul at JediTempleArchives has compiled a comprehensive report of which of the original Kenner 100 action figures remain to be updated for the modern Hasbro line. It's a great read with a few caveats but it looks like we're almost there! Click here for the report.

The year's not over yet! If you're still sober and not arguing over ridiculousness on Twitter, read the last Figure of the Day for 2010, the Storm Commando! It's a lot like the Scout Trooper, but there's a new helmet and some other tweaks. Read on!
2010 was a landmark year celebrating the 30th Anniversary of what many consider to be the best Star Wars film made, The Empire Strikes Back. For Hasbro action figure collectors, it presented a mixed bag of peaks and valleys as the year progressed. Toy Fair got things started with this year's BMF, the AT-AT, and the announcement of the new Vintage Collection and its fantastic retro style Kenner packaging.
While you're at Wal-Mart looking for Jabba, you might see Matchstick in some of their exclusive DVD figure 2-packs. It's a good figure with a distinctive design, so it wouldn't kill you to pick him up to pilot your vehicles. Or would it? (It wouldn't.) Read on!
If you missed Jabba the Hutt this year, which was an elusive exclusive, you've potentially got a second chance to get one while proving the old saying "good things come to those who wait." The exclusive is showing up again at some locations, generally scanning at $19.00 even, although sometimes the shelf tag says $26.00. Previously, it was closer to $35, so why not go take a look and get one now? It's certainly worth the $19 for Oola and Jabba alone.
Standing in front of one of the rollercoaster rides of 2010, the Gamorrean Guard is one of those must-buy figures from the year. You got one by now, right? If not, go get one. Then, after you've done that, you can read on!

Originally released last year for Target's Geonosis Arena sets, these red Battle Droids, one being a commander, are prime for the army building. Look out for a correction to a smaller size for the eyes by Hasbro for better accuracy.
