As we reported earlier today, the Star Wars saga on Blu-Ray and its pre-order was officially announced at CES in Las Vegas. Here is the official press release and trailer from Lucasilm. 30 hours of special features and being able to choose between all, OT, or Prequels? Not bad.
For the first time ever, LEGOLAND California will feature a Star Wars themed area that will be located in miniland this coming March! With over 2,000 LEGO models, the miniland will follow a chronological path through the Star Wars timeline – Episodes I – VI plus Clone Wars will all be there! Individual film scenes were selected by a panel of LEGO, LEGOLAND and Lucasfilm experts. The miniland will have over 1.5 million LEGO bricks, weigh more than 1.3 tons and took over 13 months to develop and build.

Originally slated for Wave 3 on a Return of the Jedi cardback, Hasbro has reworked the package to include a Revenge of the Sith logo and photograph-- and it definitely looks a lot cooler. After the first announcement in August, we now have a fuller idea of what's coming on Blu-Ray in September courtesy of a new official announcement. There will be three SKUs:
1. 9-disc, 6-movie collection (SRP $140, online as low as $90)
2. 3-disc, Original Trilogy set (SRP $70, online as low as $45)
3. 3-disc, Prequel Trilogy set (SRP $70, online as low as $45)
So far there's only one retail version of the diminutive Utai, a small reptile wrangler from the sinkholes of Utapau. He's cute, ain't he? The figure seemed to come and go quickly, and a prototype head variation never made it out. (But the future could reveal almost anything.) Should you get this one? Read on!
