Want to see something new - that's old? Entertainment Weekly posted a bunch of faux Topps trading cards with The Force Awakens character names on them.
Be sure to check these out - unless you consider finding out that the red lightsaber dude doesn't have "Darth" in his name is an Episode VII spoiler, which, let's be honest, would happen at a toy store or somewhere else anyway.
This week in Q&A: Let's talk girl figures - it's not a great year for them, is it? Well... it'll get better. And PR - what is it for? Should we expect more? And Black Series package variants are also a thing we can discuss.

"There has been an awakening. Have you felt it?" Check out he highly anticipated Teaser Trailer #1 for Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens after the jump! Lots to see including a cast of new characters and some awesome footage of the Millennium Falcon. The release is still over a year away, but we can't wait!
In case you missed the memo, 88 seconds of teaser trailer will be posted to the iTunes tomorrow - or you can go see The Force Awakens' big-screen debut at select theaters. Since you'll probably be working (like me) or shopping (like everyone else), I suggest going the online route while you're in line.
The second half of the first-ever two-parter of Star Wars Rebels is "Gathering Forces," which is to story what a Snickers bar is to a balanced dinner. It was an exciting episode from effects, space combat, and drama perspectives - but it suffers from another common thread of the two-parter. This is that there's really no reason to split a story across two installments beyond amortizing things like sets and costumes, and in the case of this episode I think I've only spotted a couple of new things. However, we also get some really amazing effects sequences that are both totally new and also manage to feel like they were spawned out of the 1980s school of special effects. The creators deserve massive credit for pulling that off.
Since last week's was so good, you'll want to see how it ends up and what happens to Tseebo. But this episode is more about "how" than "what." Read on for more!
Welcome to Q&A. This week - Toy Storage! To Insanity, and Beyond! We look at storing big wide figures, and the merits of Tackle Boxes - I assume you've bought some. Also, Die-Cast Metal Vehicles - dare you brave the malls to find the latest? All this and more awaits you in the infinite paragraphs of the unknown.

If you aren't afraid to admit you like them, Target's Star Wars Rebels Titan Series 12-Inch Action Figure Set is $10 off, down to $39.99. Also on sale is their matching Marvel set and a Transformers Age of Extinction collection.
Many of you have asked me "What tackle boxes do you use to store your 3 3/4-inch Star Wars figures?" There are two kinds, but one of them is actually on sale now on Amazon. A Plano 2-3700 Prolatch Stowaway 4-pack (you'll want more) should store about 48 standard-sized figures, and it's $17.99 with free Prime shipping, click here to get it.
Also, Amazon has a small suite of Star Wars deals, but nothing crazy - some half-price figures, a few older games, and so forth. If there are deals being held back for the real Black Friday, we don't know them yet, but you can click here to see what they're calling their Black Friday specials right now.
While erronneously reported as a sequel to Frozen, Strange Magic is a new fantasy musical from George Lucas and Disney. Due out in January, the CG-animated movie boasts quite an impressive voice cast as well as animation from some of the Rango people. And now we've got a look at the trailer for a movie that could also probably be called Shrek Minus Shrek. It's worth checking out, so do so after the break.
If you got the vintage figure from a couple years back, the Luke Skywalker (Hoth - The Black Series 2014) action figure offers a new head and a little less paint. He lost a couple of really cool tampos, but he has a noggin that's more like what Kenner made before the change to Hasbro, with a scarf hanging off the side. This is probably your go-to "vintage 1982 upgrade" until Hasbro decides to start doing intentionally wrong paintjobs - so read on!
This is a good one. Star Wars Rebels finds its voice with "Empire Day." There are cameos, there's a lot of action, and best of all it's a fun ride. You get to see some fun new things, and the episode not only shows you someone else with Lobot's cybernetic implant, but we actually get a decent hint as to what the future for this show may hold!
This is the episode you'll show your friends who have their arms crossed and refuse to give it a chance - it's just that good. Standard spoilers apply, plus a warning/guarantee of another Kenner cameo. Read on for more!
This week in Q&A: Lightsabers! You know I love 'em. But does Hasbro have big plans for the FX model in the future? Also, Tauntauns - are the XL ones coming soon? And let's also talk Rebels, because we can. Read on!
