Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: CB-23 (Droid Depot set, The Black Series). It's a BB-8 retool, and a reminder that the round roly-poly droid mold gets very little use. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Pit Droid (Droid Depot set, The Black Series). It's small, but impressive. It's a must-have, but also in a $75 exclusive box of mostly repaints. Should you get it? I think so. But it may not be worth your expense, unless you dig droids, and you probably do. Read on!
This week in Q&A - Modern C-3POs with removable limbs! Has it been too long? Also The Lack of Boba Fett! Why did the TV show get such meager toy support?

Adam's Star Wars Newsletter is back with the announcements you missed because who wants to watch 1 hour of video for 3 minutes of names? I don't. New Obi-Wan Kenobi, Expanded Universe, The Mandalorian, and other toys have been announced - many of which just went up for pre-order. But we're not going to make you watch someone ramble on camera to find out what they are - I typed up all the names in the newsletter so you can skim it while you're on the bus, or the toilet. Take care to not confuse the two. We expect even more announcements at Star Wars Celebration in just a few weeks.
Ad: Get new Hasbro Star Wars from Entertainment Earth! Pre-orders are open for more Mandalorians, more Clones, Cantina Band Members, helmets, lightsabers, and so much more. Use the code "SPRINGFREE22" at check-out to get free shipping on your pre-orders, assuming you hit $39 or more total.
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Mace Windu (Redux, The Vintage Collection). It's a redeco of a retool whose bones start back at 2007. At the time it was pretty good - today it's a little stiff, with eyebrows that don't quite look right, and the lightsaber hilt doesn't plug into the belt due to size issues. Read on!
Mike Birbiglia of "Sleepwalk with Me" fame and all around funny guy guest-hosted Jimmy Kimmel Live! and got to interview Ewan MacGregor and reveal a new Obi-Wan Kenobi (Wandering Jedi) action figure. That's how mainstream this is now - hey, I'm not complaining.
Here's what Hasbro had to say about it, with some more pictures after the break:
STAR WARS: THE BLACK SERIES OBI-WAN KENOBI (WANDERING JEDI) FIGURE
(HASBRO/Ages 4 years & up/Approx. Retail Price: $24.99 /Available: Spring 2023)
STAR WARS fans and collectors can imagine scenes from the STAR WARS galaxy with this premium THE BLACK SERIES 6-INCH OBI-WAN KENOBI (WANDERING JEDI) figure, inspired by the character in the STAR WARS: OBI-WAN KENOBI series. Obi-Wan Kenobi is set years after the dramatic events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith where Kenobi faced the corruption of his friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker turned Sith Lord Darth Vader. It also features the great articulation we have come to expect from Black Series, including the butterfly joints which allow more dynamic posing and articulation.
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Obi-Wan Kenobi (Archive, The Black Series 6-Inch). The orange box figure from the first phase of the series was hideous - this improves on it, but it's still a little gnarly looking. It goes to show just how much better a figure can look with the right colors of plastic and paint, but also that there's only so much you can do with an older sculpt. This is the best version of the mold - but a new mold would also be welcome. Read on!

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: The Emperor (PulseCon/Throne, The Vintage Collection). It's a 2005 figure with a new head and accessories. It's arguably the best version of this particular mold, but the soft goods are - unsurprisingly - still quite bulky. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Clone Captain Grey (The Vintage Collection). It's yet another clone from The Bad Batch - and the face paint is really excellent. Read on!

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Baze Malbus (Photoreal Redux, The Black Series). Check out that face - it's a huge improvement and makes the existing sculpt look spectacular. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Elite Squad Trooper (The Vintage Collection). It's a black repaint from Amazon that's more dark gray than black, but it still ain't bad. Read on!
