From the future of Star Wars comes Sigel Dare, an Imperial Knight that barely squeaked out with an action figure release before the comic packs went away. Is she any good? Read on!
It's Carnor Jax in training gear! Note the blue outfit, recycled Clone trainee legs, and nifty logo on his back. Should you pick up this guardsman-to-be? Read on!
The second (and much improved) animated Magnaguard is pretty fantastic-- not as good as the Vintage one, but still exquisite. It's lanky and chunky, has some great gear, and an excellent sculpt. Read on!
Back before we called them "soft goods" Kenner enlisted its girls division to make this great Princess Leia Organa figure in an all-cloth white dress. Wow! For once, articulation wasn't restricted by the outfit. Should you get one today? Well, maybe. Read on!
This Lando Calrissian redeco is notable for being bad-- actually, one of Hasbro's worst. Target sold a big Battle Pack with this figure, which was pretty bad, and a Luke redeco that's even worse. Why so awful? Read on!
Not as exciting as yesterday's AT-RT figure, this AT-RT Driver was a Target exclusive in a unique green color. I like the green lenses in particular, but still, it hasn't really made any appearances as of yet. Is it worth a look? Read on!
Hey kids, it's ARF Trooper Boil! Not many Clones get more than one figure, but this one did-- and just look at that detail! Unique camo, a special tampo on his helmet, and great articulation make this one of the best figures you likely passed on late last year, because you are a bad person. Read on!
While I posted the story yesterday, apparently it didn't get front paged! Check out this Cloud City Wing Guard from 2009-- he's pretty swell! And cheap. Cheap is, of course, great as you'll want several. Read on!
Our pals at Sandtroopers.com have images of two packaged figures which, in turn, reveal several more new figures from upcoming The Clone Wars assortments. Which, we're gambling, are going to be revealed officially in New York. Just click here to see them all in their forums, and be delighted by a new Barriss Offee, El-Les, and Kmart exclusive Clone Captain Lock!
Toy Fair is a fun time of year, and it looks like we get to open a few of our presents early. A new wave of The Vintage Collection is known to us because a packaged sample of Luke Skywalker (Dagobah Pilot) has been making the rounds. New figures include Lando Calrissian (General), Clone Trooper, AT-RT Driver, Fi-Ek Sirch, and a new Weequay.
The two Battle Over Endor action figure packs are hitting Toys "R" Us as you read this-- each is $24.99, which is a really good value for 4 new figures these days. Of note, my R5-P9 was packaged backward, with his dome spun around 180 degrees. There's nothing wrong with the figure once you open it, but it's possible some (or all) may be sold this way. Also, each package has a different Return of the Jedi-themed backdrop.
