In light of the reveal today, it seemed worth bringing up this 2019 release - an unlicensed figure - from a 2022 entry in my Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Star Wars Figure of the Day: Han Solo in Stormtrooper Disguise (Custom). It's the Smith Lord Creations release that was going around, and mine has - to put it mildly - imperfect paint. At the time it was the best option available short of making your own custom figure, and it was expensive - and now it looks like Hasbro is going to make something very similar for a fraction of the price. In what is arguably the most important news of the year for Kenner fanatics, Hasbro Pulse revealed six new - well, five new, and a sixth - Kenner Star Wars action figures from the film called Star Wars on social media today.
In this set you'll find the Rebel Fleet Trooper, Han Solo (Imperial Stormtrooper Outfit), Luke Skywalker (Yavin), Walrus Man, Sandtrooper, and Dr. Evazan.

If you wondered if slapping a new human head of nobody in particular on a Luke body works, it turns out that it does! Hasbro did a nice job making a decent human head, but it's not of any specific performer (as far as I know) and could well be a Hasbro or Lucasfilm employee. But it's a new pilot, and that's what you probably want here. Read on!

This Amazon exclusive comes in a 3-pack with Axe Woves (new) and an unnamed Mandalorian Warrior figure. Paz Vizsla is identical to the Deluxe figure in stores near you - but without the jet pack or firing rocket launcher. I'm on Bluesky. It got really popular in the last couple of weeks, so I am posting a few fun things there - like this! And yes there's a typo in it, Bluesky does not yet have an edit function.
What you're looking at is The Vintage Collection The Armorer’s Forge Playset populated by some 2022 and 2023 The Retro Collection figures from The Mandalorian. The playset got some criticism for being unpainted and old-looking - which my brain immediately read and thought "Oh so like a Kenner playset?" It even has a little cabinet that opens with sticker detail inside. The actual toy does not light up.

Her The Vintage Collection figure was one of Hasbro's very best, and the Retro figure is also pretty neat. I was surprised she has a separately molded wig - an impossibility of the Kenner era - and it looks phenomenal. I like this one. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Jod Na Nawood (The Vintage Collection). In a wave of repaints and a couple of retools, this is the sole all-new guy - we haven't seen the show yet, but we do know it's Jude Law in some sort of quasi-pirate getup. It looks neat. The show comes out next month, where we'll find out if he raided Hondo's closet, or is a robot like in A.I., or is just a boring old Jedi. Read on!
