It seems almost unthinkable, but a second movie is entering production. According to StarWars.com, Lucasfilm Announces Casting for Star Wars: Starfighter.  Of note, "Joining the previously announced Ryan Gosling, the film stars Flynn Gray, Matt Smith, Mia Goth, Aaron Pierre, Simon Bird, Jamael Westman, Daniel Ings, and Amy Adams."  Wow, Amy Adams? Color me surprised.

Previously the movie was said to have taken place five years after The Rise of Skywalker but this article states that it is "set in a period of time never before explored in Star Wars." That's not necessarily a condtradiction, but it's certainly a curious way of sharing some information.
