In another paradigm shift that signals Star Wars as we know it is drastically headed into a bold and exciting direction, Lucasfilm announces that new spinoff films will be released sometime after Episode VII that will expand the Saga and focus on a specific character.

Lawrence Kasdan, who Star Wars fans are very familiar with, having written The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, and Raiders of the Lost Ark, is slated for one film, while Simon Kinberg (Mr and Mrs. Smith) is writting a second film.

That Joe Johnston directed Boba Fett one off fans only imagined in farfetched dreams has to be a reality at this point.
