While my budget for travel basically covers trips to toy stores and the occasional bike ride to Wal-Mart, I'm seeing a ton of great coverage from New York City at the Hasbro party before New York Comic Con. New 6-inch and 3 3/4-inch Star Wars figures were shown, as are some nifty new Transformers toys. Seeing as you can get all-new Leia Boushh figures in regular and extra-large sizes, clearly it's a great time to be alive.
UPDATED with more links to Mission Series and Saga Legends images.
New 6-inch Star Wars figures include Emperor Palpatine, Commander Cody, Princess Leia Organa in Boushh Disguise, Luke Skywalker in Stormtrooper Disguise, IG-88, and a Clone Trooper Captain (AOTC).
New 3 3/4-inch Black Series Star Wars figures include Han Solo in Carbonite, Jawa 2-Pack, Mosep, C-3PO (repack?), Princess Leia Organa (Boushh Disguise), and Clone Commander Thorn. Thanks to Jeff Smentek of Jedi Defender plus Radio Free Cybertron for all these links we're posting.
Saga Legends has added Bespin Han Solo, Skiff Guard Lando Calrissian, and X-Wing Pilot Luke Skywalker. Tweeted images from the Imperial Shipyards
Mission Series 2-packs have added Yoda & R2-D2, Ezra (Imperial Cadet) with Kanan, Luke Skywalker (Stormtrooper Disguise) and Princess Leia, plus Han and Luke in Hoth Battle Gear.
If you're like me and interested in Transformers 2015, the two big themes are Robots in Disguise, the confusingly named new TV show and toy line follow-up to Prime, as well as Transformers Generations Combiner Wars. Combiner Wars brings back the super-teams of old with a few changes, allowing you to mix and match big robots out of smaller robots. TFW2005.com has more.
