Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: The Mythrol (The Vintage Collection). It's a 2021 figure, and quite shiny - like an actual fish. Given the size, it looks great - even in a dark room! Read on!
This week in Q&A - Hasbro's 12-inch figures - should we get our hopes up? And The Final Resting Place of Prototypes - which is technically a HasLab question, but you have to admit, it's a good one.

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Crosshair (Imperial, The Black Series). It's a good figure but not an authentic figure - the colors and new helmet are great, but the armor is just a recolor of the Republic version. It's not really accurate to the show, so a version 2.0 is pretty much essential right out of the gate. Regardless, it does look cool in and of itself and is arguably worth a buy at regular price. Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Jyn Erso (The Black Series). This is the 2021 release today. The old 2016 figure is new and improved with an impressive photoreal face, and this does indeed mean your old ones are old and inferior. This is probably one of the most dramatic improvements I've seen since Hasbro started repainting figures with the new printing, and in person it's stunning how much better she looks. Read on!
This week in Q&A - HasLab - should we keep talking about this? And size differences - how is it possible 3 3/4-inch figures seem to be looking better than 6-inch figures lately?

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Hevy Battle Droid (The Vintage Collection). It's shiny and red, and the paint is really good. But it's a Battle Droid, so maybe you skipped it - and you shouldn't have. Read on!
It's golden, but not really a golden addition to any collection. Stormtrooper (Skywalker Saga, Gold). It's a 2018 figure, minus an accessory, and painted gold for 2019. And in my case, the neck snapped right out of the box. Read on!
This week in Q&A - the Hasbro license - should we keep talking about this? Also Japanese figures coming to America.
Also we are not terribly concerned about spoilers for The Book of Boba Fett (because narratively speaking nothing much happened.) In the coming weeks cameos may be discussed as they related to new or existing toys, but no, we're not going to ruin twists or surprises if they add any.

As 2020 comes to an end for an alleged second time, let's look at this 2019 Darth Vader (Skywalker Saga, Gold). It's and older figure, but after two years I can safely say that having just opened one, the gold paint sticks to itself and I don't like that. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: The Emperor (The Vintage Collection). It's new! But it's a 2005 figure with a new hood, new robe, and some new accessories - and it's still a 2005 figure, and the PulseCon variant's head is a better one. Read on!
This week in Q&A - HasLab - should we keep talking about this? And the Rancor - I mean, I know I'm kind of over it at this point.
