New Black Series - repacks! According to many sources, and Robot Kingdom (a very popular exporter of Transformers overseas) there are 4 more The Black Series 3 3/4-inch action figures coming out as future Walmart exclusives. You may already own them, but they’re good ones if you missed them. While Hasbro has not confirmed this, it’s a slow news week so we’re going to assume this is all fact and tell you about these previous releases. Read on for more pictures, links to reviews of the original figures, and a list of who you can expect to find in stores in the next couple of months.
At this time, there are no Rogue One or The Force Awakens figures in these waves known to be coming. This continues the previous The Black Series line's proud tradition of minimizing freshness in the 3 3/4-inch range.
This week in Q&A - Awesome Features in Recent Star Wars Figures - will they return? I wouldn't get your hopes up. Articulation - so how exactly are they making bigger figures with more articulation at a lower price for Marvel now? Heck if I know. And the big stuff from other companies - well, thanks to the wonder that is the gag order, I ain't tellin'.

Skunk ape? Balding ape? Varmik? It's the Hassk Thug, a McQuarrie-inspired triplet which is one of very few denizens of the castle on Takodana to get a figure. It's one of those things fans need to start demanding, like a Lin-Manuel Miranda for some reason or another. Anyway, how is he? I'd say get one, but read on to see what I wrote in the review.
We're back - but not every day! I gotta sleep once in a while. Let's look at the nifty Kylo Ren Unmasked, released earlier this year and unlikely to be at a store near you. He was popular. He's also more than an old body with a new head - Hasbro did the work on this one.
This week in Q&A - The Next Figures. No, you didn't miss them - there's a big launch around the corner. And vehicles and figures - they're toys now? Yes. Finally, is it too soon for #WheresRey to have any real change on the toy line for Rogue One? As long time readers know, it's time to buckle up and lower those expectations. It takes a long time to change direction.

The AVClub put together a wonderful round up of unreleased video game news. Did you know about the Darth Vader spin-off of Rogue Squadron, or the game focusing on Chewbacca's years as a bounty hunter during the "dark times?" If not, this is must-read, must-watch stuff. There are links, there are videos, and there will be tears over the things you've missed. Click here to check it out. It's called "George Lucas ruining a Chewbacca game was just one of LucasArts’ woes."
SEGA - yes that SEGA - is putting out some new consumer goods for Star Wars in Japan. For when not just any clock will do, there are new Cloud City and Stormtrooper models. In addition to that, the AT-AT Mat (or MAT-AT) is coming for your bathroom needs. NCS has pre-orders for these slated for later this year.
This week in Q&A - X-Wings in XL! Is it realistic to expect a giant version of the sequel trilogy vehicle? And Lessons Learned from The Force Awakens - should we expect a change for Rogue One toys? (Not really - they were in development before that line hit.) Also Exclusives because why not.

Big chains come and big chains go, with some not exactly expanding as the 21st century trudges on. 80 more Sears and Kmart stores closed this week, and Business Insider has a list of recent exiles. One in Arizona is gone, along with four in California and a heck of a lot in Pennsylvania. Click here to see if your store made it.
If you loved The Force Awakens but not so much that you actually bought it, there's something coming for you in November. This week in Q&A - Is 3 3/4-inch dead as Star Wars action figures go? No, of course not. People have been asking that since like 1998. The line isn't dead. There are too many people buying it. So what about those Rebels figures? Oh, those aren't dead either. And purging - is it a sin? Well, it is to me!
