New Walmart Exclusive The Black Series 3 3/4-Inch Figures Revealed?

New Black Series - repacks!  According to many sources, and Robot Kingdom (a very popular exporter of Transformers overseas) there are 4 more The Black Series 3 3/4-inch action figures coming out as future Walmart exclusives.  You may already own them, but they’re good ones if you missed them.  While Hasbro has not confirmed this, it’s a slow news week so we’re going to assume this is all fact and  tell you about these previous releases.  Read on for more pictures, links to reviews of the original figures, and a list of who you can expect to find in stores in the next couple of months.

At this time, there are no Rogue One or The Force Awakens figures in these waves known to be coming.   This continues the previous The Black Series line's proud tradition of minimizing freshness in the 3 3/4-inch range.

3135 Admiral Ackbar is the 2010 The Vintage Collection figure.  He’s a good update of the Kenner original, complete with baton.   He’s not super-articulated, but he’s the best 3 3/4-inch Admiral Ackbar money can currently buy.  While not perfect, click here to read the full review of this admirable Ackbar.

3131 Ahsoka Tano is a repack of the scarce shared online exclusive The Vintage Collection figure from 2012 that you probably skipped.  She’s a realistic take on the cartoon’s older character model, which commands a pretty penny on eBay.  She has 2 lightsabers and 2 hilts, and this is your chance to pick her up at a fair price.  Just don’t dawdle,  you’ll be sorry if you do.  Want more? click here to read the full review.

The Emperor’s Royal Guard is also a repack from the same wave as Ahsoka, interestingly having been produced in the same numbers - and is an army builder - but her popularity and huge young fanbase drove her price far higher.  This guard has Kir Kanos-esque gear from Crimson Empire, including armor and a blaster and 2 helmets and a staff AND a pike.  It was a too-good-to-be-true figure for $10 back then, and at $13-$15 now it’s no slouch.  Click here for a review and a video review, too.

Rounding out the quartet is 2011′s General Lando Calrissian.  It’s the third modern-era update of the vintage Power of the Force figure from those last shipments in the 1980s.  His The Vintage Collection 2011 release has been inching up, so this is a fine way to get him cheaper in a little box if you want one to open, or to fit in that big Millennium Falcon you probably let collect dust since assembling it.  Click here for the full review.
