Star Wars: The Black Series! The 6-inch line showed very little you hadn't seen (or seen hinted at) before. The presentation had Doctor Aphra and her droids, plus the previously seen Chopper and Ezra Bridger. More surprising were 20th Anniversary Episode I "vintage" packaging for Celebration in Chicago.

Ewan McGregor's Obi-Wan Kenobi - who will also be in the mainline - will go jumbo 6-inch CommTech-free vintage carded. So will Darth Maul, which is the 2013 figure with the new face paint that will also be in the Archive collection later this year. Package collectors - you may well want these. Everybody else - sit tight, they will be available.

Hasbro was clear about its new strategy - far fewer waves per year, with each case having more new figures and no carry-overs. Will it work? Will fans get bored and forget to go hunting? It's going to be an interesting year!
