With recent news and all, this year's Star Wars Weekends at Disney Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida (May 17 to June 9) is a little more special and relevant and may offer hints of the franchise's future, which we hope expands beyond the cutesy collectible and pins with the obligatory mouse ears. 

Disney Parks Blog previews the Star Wars Weekends exclusives being offered at the event. Highlights include a Jedi Mickey Starfighter, which may or may not include an R2-MK Build-A-Droid, a Jumbo Return of the Jedi 30th Anniversary pin, and a 9 inch Jabba The Hutt Vinylmation figure.

It's nice to see some acknowledgement of Return of the Jedi's 30th Anniversary, which we've  seen very little of in any other Lucasfilm licensor marketing or product. Let's do this party right, Lucasfilm! More ROTJ! Faster! More Intense!
