I  guess it was bound to happen.  Box Office Mojo is reporing that The Phantom Menace has surpassed Star Wars on the all-time US box office chart, unadjusted for inflation.As of today, the prequel has the original beat by about $6 million, and it'll probably cap it by about $20-$24 million until Star Wars gets reissued at the theaters again-- which, at this rate, will probably not be before 2015.  See the chart and the latest numbers, here.
