A number of sources like The Hollywood Reporter have some news for us: ‘Star Wars’: Jon Watts to Direct Next Movie for Lucasfilm. Given how many other movies we've seen announced I assume it's going to be hard to tell if this is the real deal or it's going to be like the Droid movie, the Lando series/movie, whatever Rian Johnson is allegedly working on, the movie from the Game of Thrones guys, whatever Kevin Feige was doing, that First Jedi movie thing, and all the other stuff. If this one does materialize I just assume that means the slate was probably swept clean and we just need to ignore or heavily research all the other concepts to see what it is we may have missed.
