For Epic World of Action (formerly Epic Hero Series) and The Retro Collection, nothing new was shown. Right now we know Epic World of Action is going to get at least three mechs and a few new bikes along with an X-Wing this year, so that's good. For Retro, we know about that one six pack of figures due at the place with the big red dot in about a month - and it's very exciting.
So how about The Vintage Collection and The Black Series? We're getting some newness with actual new costumes and fresh faces, as well as some faces we haven't seen in quite a few years.
So what's new from Hasbro? A lot of new pre-orders are going up Wednesday, March 25 at 1:00 PM Eastern. As always I recommend going to Entertainment Earth or Amazon, as they both advertise and pay us if you order through links we place.
The Vintage Collection showed off a revised Dengar figure. It's the 2010 one with some better deco! The Landspeeder vehicle is an all-new mold with lots more moving parts and a pack-in carded Luke who is Malibu Stacy-ing it up with his new hat and a poncho. It has retractable wheels, too. It should be nice. Asajj Ventress will make her Vintage debut - she looks a lot like her realistic cartoon figure from The Black Series, which was a good one. Agent Kallus (Alexsandr Kallas) makes his animated realistic debut as well, and looks great. Carson Teva gets a figure too, complete with his jacket as seen in season three of The Mandalorian. This may well be one of the most interesting batches of reveals we've had in a while!
The Black Series continues with some Ahsoka figures. A Night Trooper gives us an undead Death Trooper, and also a new Ezra Bridger in his space savior costume from that series will also be up for order tomorrow. They will be joined by SM-33 from Skeleton Crew, which looks great - but this is his second figure. A hulking 4-inch scale figure is already available in Epic World of Action.
Come back for more specific pre-order links tomorrow, because we gotsta get paid. Lots of hosting fees, you know how it goes.
