Friend of the site Seth Longmire has been working on a 3 3/4-inch scale bar for action figures that's a mix of old 1970s colors and modern 2020 production techniques. You can read about it at Making a Cantina - Part 1 where the orange 3-D printed prototype can be seen.
I've seen a bit more of this item's progress and I can tell you it's pretty spectacular, and designed to fit in a DETOLF (so far.) You'll want to keep an eye on this one if you have a lot of properly scaled action figures. And if you don't, there have been some really good ones lately.
Super7 just released a black and green Astro Zombie ReAction Figure that looks like an Adventure People Firestar I pilot, and The Outer Space Men Galactic Holiday Edition 2022 has four exceptionally nifty figures that straddle the line of "retro" and "high-end art deco."
And of course Hasbro has some great retro Star Wars figures on sale at stores near you. And there are thousands of them on eBay. But this is about you getting more out of the figures you already own, and presumably if you're reading this site you have enough figures to populate a few playsets already.
