According to Variety, 'The Acolyte' Is Dead: 'Star Wars' Series Won't Return for Season 2. While not a terrible show, it did spend 8 episodes repeating itself, but had a really good Dark Sider actor/costume and a lot of really good performers. This may be the fastest we've seen a Star Wars show get news of a non-pick-up for a second season, and I assume the clock is ticking on if this might get disappeared like Willow at some point.  As such, you may want to watch it now. Not only did Willow get deleted, but pre-orders for the show-specific toys also got un-approved and are going to the unproduced figure aisle in the sky.
